Connection 2

$1,700.00

Researching the ways of creating images, I dived into methodologies and Gillian’s Rose phrase (“the connection between seeing and true knowing was broken”) struck me as a lightning. This concept is especially crucial when thinking about our modern, internet and social media driven life. A space where we present ourselves and our life for the public to see, sometimes drastically different from reality.  Inspired by this division of the physical object and its online perception, this diptych pictures a semi - abstract interpretation of Rose's words and serves as an entry point for my work on such topics as social media, self - perception and mental health."

27,5x60 in painting on canvas. Acrylics, matt varnish. Painting will be delivered unframed, rolled in a tube. Stretching on wooden frame is required.
